I would not resort to illegal sales again. I prefer mine tested and certified.

This particular demographic, at least, won't change.

I like a selection. I like to know what I am buying. Frankly, I've gotten to the point where I have favorite greenhouses/growers.

I still get a weed card so I don't get hit as badly, but people in LA get taxed around 30% without it. I can only imagine how the businesses get hammered.

I think I'll write my assemblyman about it.

But a base price, in many cases, of $75 for an eighth / 3.5 g is also exorbitant, IMO.

super good oz for $50 to $150. Everyone has a patch in the summer and many a grow room inside. It's just to easy to grow. I think Michigan is one of the lowest taxed states for this product.

If you visit Colorado, you'll find that residents are pretty happy with the revenue from cannabis sales. Quite a few legal outlets have 7 gram packages at $30-45 depending on potency and local taxes. The tourists are always welcome in Colorado and it's for more than just the beer.
