RUMOR: Next WBNA collective bargaining agreement will lower age of draft eligibility.

There's a rumor traveling through forums that the league and union are in agreement to allow collegiate players to enter the draft no later than the age of 21. That would theoretically allow Juju Watkins and Hannah Hidalgo to enter the 2026 draft if they so chose.

Currently, American players must by 22 years of age or have somehow exhausted college eligibility. Foreign players may join as early as 19. Stay tuned.
