Sonia Citron is making Chicago Sky regret trading their 3rd pick in 2025 WNBA Draft

Sonia Citron is quickly proving that the Chicago Sky may have made a huge mistake trading away the third overall pick in the 2025 WNBA Draft. Already putting up some of the best numbers in the league this season, Citron shows no signs of slowing down anytime soon.

In a trade that’s paying off big for the Washington Mystics, they acquired the 6’1” guard Sonia Citron, while also holding the fourth overall pick, which they used to select 6’4” forward Kiki Iriafen. Both players are shaping up to be two of the top talents from this draft class and are making the Mystics look like the real winners of the deal.

In her most recent outing, Citron poured in 19 points, five rebounds and three assists, hitting six of 11 from the field and four of six from beyond the arc.

Impressively, Citron has scored in double digits in every regular-season game so far, highlighting her consistent impact on the court.
