Kansas State's Ayoka Lee Suffers Injury vs. Arizona State

In a tough break for Jeff Mittie and the Kansas State Wildcats, senior forward Ayoka Lee headed for the locker room after suffering an injury in the second quarter.

Lee was dealing with some health issues to start the season off and had been playing a career-low 19.5 minutes per game to avoid overexerting herself and risking further injury.

Lee departed the contest vs. Arizona State with roughly two minutes to play in the first half. At the time of her departure, she left the court with seven points and one rebound.

Following the win over the Sun Devils, Mittie provided an update on Lee’s status, saying, “It’s not good, guys. I don’t have a definitive update, but it’s not going to be a week or two.”
