Related: About this forumIt seem like 1:45 is the new 1:30.
It seems like forever that almost all movies were exactly 1:30 long. Now the new standard is 1:45. Sometimes they go 2 hours. Maybe people's attention spans are getting longer. Or directors are insisting it's how long it takes to tell the story. Anyone else notice this trend?

I'll take that over wading through a 2:45 leviathan that will include at least one bathroom break and the possibility that I nod off.
