Congratulations to the Hanshin Tigers professional baseball team
The Hanshin Tigers (阪神タイガース ), based in the Osaka/Kobe area, are one of 12 professional baseball teams in Japan. The teams are divided into the Central (or "Se" ) League and the Pacific (or "Pa" ) League. Hanshin is in the "Se" League. They have just won their league title and the right to compete in the Japan Series, which is Japan's version of the World Series. They have just set the record for clinching the league title earlier than any other team in Japanese baseball history.
