☦️ Orthodox thanking God for Holy Anthony of Padua ✝️
I found something unusual outside and took it as a sign from my sweet girl dog who passed in March. I put it somewhere and couldn't find it. After looking in most likely places, I quit. Then requested St. Anthony to please uncover it. Some time later a thought came to me and I kinda had a feeling that's where I placed it. And it was.God is Glorified In His Saints!

St Anthony is my personal saint and my son's. He always leads me to find things.

I pray to him, and also asked that he and the Mother of God be fastened together

in interceding for my every need.
I have an ikon of Holy Anthony on my table of other spiritual items and artifacts.

(6,553 posts)3. I was taught the St Anthony prayer. At first I only remembered to use the prayer when I lost important
things. As time went on the more I asked him to find things the more consistently these things would show up. I really thought these occurrences were coincidences but realized they were not. Always I share my gratitude to him. I wear a medallion with his image.
I am not Catholic, was raised Lutheran and did not celebrate saints. But I do now believe in the power of the Saints.
