1. There Are Many People Doing It

There are many people directing energy/cursing/hexing/etc. at the Trump administration. There are many problems with this. 1) Coordination. Getting Pagans to do anything is like herding cats. 2) People being vocal about it on social media are forgetting the whole "Be Silent" part of the Witches Pyramid. 3) Going after Tangerine Palpatine himself is next to impossible. He's got multiple layers of psychic protection around him, including the protections that come with being POTUS. Believe me, I've tried. My coven has tried. Other people have tried. He's got whatever glamour he acquired to make himself successful, chaos magicians who are protecting him, practitioners in Russia who are aligned with Putin, etc.

The better plan of attack is to go after lower-level employees to remember their oaths and come forward with information. Or to protect the citizens of DC. Find the weak links and get them to break.

2. Reading "Dark Star Rising" now.

This book was written after the 1st election. I remember the gloating and chortling by occolt oriented rw podcasters after that 1st election, and wondered if something was up. Apparently, yes.

I am not a practitioner of anything, but like to be informed. I guess if anything along these lines was happening, outsiders like me wouldn't hear about it anyway. It's good to know people are trying.

3. I have read it

And listened to a talk from the author. Yeah, there's definitely some magickal protection around Tangerine.

4. Read and still Fortune's Psychic Self Defense and Mystical Quabalah.

Have other of her practical magic books that collected but never read.

Read and possess Fortune's novels. There is a post somewhere at DU where I recommended Fortune's novels. They are good and timeless as well.

Have a Dion Fortune bio that enjoyed. Have not read Fortune for many years.

Went through a period buying magic and mysticism books and associated bios.

At present rereading the Unknown God, bio of WT Smith, and a bio on John Dee at present. Recently finished The Queen's Conjurer a bio of Dee, a reread. The bio of Dee reading now was written by a woman at UC Davis.

That type of reading is more time consuming.

Mostly binge re-reading Walter Mosley's Easy Rawlings novels (detective stories) at present, ordered 3 later Easy Rawlins from Mobile Library that came out after went through many Mosley books several years ago last week. Mobile library comes every two weeks.

Read all the Raymond Chandler and Dashiel Hammett novels and 29 of the 31 Jim Thompson novels earlier this year plus bios of each writer, all rereads and on my bookshelves.

I can never move because of so many books.
