We start with 32 teams in 8 groups of four. Half of them will be eliminated in group play, leaving 16 for single round elimination matches.

If the US manage to finish second (finishing above Germany is not realistic), they'll face the winner of group H, which could be Belgium or Russia.

Anything can happen.

from that early goal. USAA is still feeling the effects of losing Altidore. so far they have been just good enough and Ghana has had enough miscues to hold the lead.

I've seen some tentative ness in Ghana's defense. another goal for the US is not out of the question if they get their heads together. playing the way they are they need some insurance
