The ACL guys, the Achilles tendon guys, the broken ankle guys... hamstrings... concussions

a lot of them do have some relationship, so it would make sense that they might. Particularly given the most elite among them likely have been treated by the same surgeon.

Achilles is a very long recovery so it would surprise me if they didn't talk to each other. Its a very common basketball injury too.

The positions are like a fraternity, and I've heard accounts reported over the years of someone suffering a serious one and the members of the fraternity reach out to offer support. Former college teammates, now on different NFL teams, will also do the same.
