Everyone wants to fire their coach! NFL becoming a rent a coach by season league. Silly.

5. I can understand why they did it

A talented roster like the Bills have had for the past several years eventually gets old and can no longer perform like it did in its prime. The owners and the fans expect a talented roster to produce championships, and if it doesn’t, changes will be made. In this case, ownership probably felt that McDermott has had enough chances and decided to switch gears before the championship window closes for this roster.

6. IMO it's more of a GM problem than a coaching problem

I have no feelings whatsoever about McDermott, but roster construction and cap management have been constant criticisms of the Bills
