I think the Rams can beat Seattle

Rams head coach Sean McVay was handed the blueprint in how to attack Seattle's defense thanks to the 49ers. Both teams have similar offenses. Difference is, the Rams have much better personnel on the O-line.

And while maybe their defense isn't as intimidating as Seattle's, it's good enough to harass the heck out of Sam Darnold.

Seattle's winning formula in the last two game vs the Niners, according to Brock Purdy:

... the Seahawks employed two deep safeties, hoping to prevent big passing plays, and make QBs try to beat them with a deliberate, methodical approach. Of course, that conservative approach is often wrecked by QB harassers such as (defensive lineman) DeMarcus Lawrence and Leonard Williams, part of a defense that ranked seventh in the NFL in sacks.

“You really do have to play smart football, check the ball down and stay on the field on third downs,” Purdy said. “They’re kind of defense that they’re not going to give up the big shot plays … They make you go through your read, check it down, have a gain of six, seven yards, and play that really the whole game.” (Paywall: https://www.sfchronicle.com/sports/49ers/article/brock-purdy-seahawks-problem-49ers-time-ponder-21300878.php

The opening line favors Seattle (-2.5), but I expect McVay and Rams QB Mathew Stafford will find a way to win.

It will be epic.

Absolutely the Rams with Stafford have a sluggers chance.

New England should beat Denver but I would guess Seattle or the Rams will be around a touchdown favorite in the Super Bowl.
