Washington needs to fire Dan Quinn and Kkkliff Kingsbury then trade Jaiddin Daniel's away and start over. My god those three are horrendous. Last year was an obvious fluke.

(25,483 posts)that Marcus Mariota is the QB tonight and has been for the past several games while Daniels was out with a shoulder injury?
I think it would be a mistake to give up on Daniels this early in his career.

I haven't watched, afraid of the jinx, but correct to point out mistake to give up on Daniels this early in his career.
LOTS of action, I 'see,' surprises for more than me, it seems.
SOME should keep their 'opinions' to themselves!!!

(179 posts)have been drafted. He can only throw max 45 yards. His only talent is running. Dallas exposed his lack of arm talent earlier in the year. To beat Daniels just play man coverage. He has no accuracy, no arm strength. Run first qb which proves this. It was so obvious last year but teams are terrified of the run

(29,805 posts)but he has more of a down field passing game than most dual threat QBs. I think he probably threw 45 yards or more on that hail mary last year.
Playing man coverage is actually easier on the dual threat QBs to run the ball because most defensive backs have their backs to their QB so he can take off and run.
I have seen him in college and he was the highest ranked dual threat QB out of high school and he proved he could play so I definitely think he deserves to be drafted.
I do agree they should fire Kliff Kingsbury. The Commanders offense looks like the Cardinals before Gannon took over. They also have Zach Ertz on the team just like the Cardinals.
He can be hard to adjust to teams in the 2nd season or after teams start playing you different but there were many Bears fans that wished they drafted Daniels instead of Caleb Williams so a lot changed in a year and a lot more can change in a year.
It used to be they would draft a QB in the first couple of rounds and give them 3-4 years to develop and many QBs would struggle early in their career. The more reps and experience he gains he will be a great QB down the road. If Washington doesn't want him they can trade him to Arizona for Kyler Murray.

Weird how this ENTIRE site is devoted to voicing opinions.
The irony.....ouch.

(179 posts)Only this goofy Washington offensive offense could make Mariota look good. It's a "training wheels" offense for Daniel's. Daniel's is so bad he shouldn't be in the league. I'm a 50 year Washington fan, so embarrassed by these 3 no talent, ass clowns.

(6,039 posts)Ive hated both of these teams since the beginning of time, so I couldn't give two shits about who should or shouldn't be coaching or who shouldnt have been drafted. It was a joy to watch them go at it last night, as were pretty much all the games over the weekend.

(179 posts)Quinn should be fired if nothing else for going for 2 last night in OT. Only Kingsburys training wheels offense could make Mariota look like a legitimate NFL QB. That's why goofy assed Danielles was able to function last year. Washington's new ownership screwed up 3 fold when it took over. Hiring a failed coach from DALLAS of all places. Then hiring that imbecile Kingsbury from off the street. He'd been fired as a failure because of this same stupid offensive scheme from Arizona. Then these morons drafted Danielles. A clone of RG3. Check a stats and play comparison of the two. Almost identical failures. Run first, can't pass. Last year's offensive playbook consisted of 10 passing plays. 10. Given a year to figure out how stupid the offense is (just like in Arizona) teams are stopping them and Danielles keeps getting hurt because he shouldn't be in the NFL.
