Seven sacks by the Lions and I don't know how many pressures and hurries. Just a relentless pursuit of Lamar Jackson.
Is Detroit that good, or are the Ravens that bad?

(24,494 posts)through 3 weeks of this early season, the Lions rank 13th in yards allowed (923). Cleveland is #1 at 613 yards allowed.
And Detroit is 23rd in points allowed (78). The Packers are #1 at 44 points allowed.
Sacks per game? The Lions are third at 3.7. The Broncos and Rams are tied for first at 4.0.
That said, I think they're good.

(32,575 posts)Those first three games were against decent offenses -- Bengals (w/Burrow), Ravens, Packers. Didn't realize. Thanks for that.
Detroit had a game plan to harass Jackson and did not deviate. Not even late in the fourth Q. Impressive showing IMO.

(37,865 posts)I admit I was nervous, but the O Line looked great and the D Line seems to have its act together. It was good to see Hutch back in form.

(283 posts)I stayed up to watch it, in bed at 11:30, up at 3am for work. But glad I saw the whole game. Detroit's opener, against Green Bay, was bad. Back to form in weeks 2 and 3. I am hopeful for a great season.
