Hawks are gone

41 years ago, I was in Army, serving at Ft Lewis. I scored tickets, on radio, to the first Seahawk playoff game ever.
I was hooked!
Since then, I've seen the Hawks live, 43 times. Sometimes, we drove and sometimes we flew.
Because of LilBit, I stood on CLink field , and watched Tyler,Russ, and Stefon Diggs( he was with Vikes, then, ) play catch with her, in her wheelchair.
Got a tour of CLink stadium, we were fed,

Im a Hawk fan, for life

I just hope I live long enough to see us in the Superb Owl again.

Kick in to the DU tip jar?

This week we're running a special pop-up mini fund drive. From Monday through Friday we're going ad-free for all registered members, and we're asking you to kick in to the DU tip jar to support the site and keep us financially healthy.

As a bonus, making a contribution will allow you to leave kudos for another DU member, and at the end of the week we'll recognize the DUers who you think make this community great.
