The drops are plainly visible on the bird's wing feathers. Quite a feat, if you ask me!

Their cooing sometimes seems to come from a room I'm in, while the doves are likely calling from an eave or a nearby tree. When I was a child their cooing sounded exotic to me; like something I'd heard in a Tarzan movie.
