One could make the argument Freddie Freeman (2022) was the bigger bang for the buck deal. Brother Buzz May 10 #5

I thought at the start of the season he would be in the starting rotation, but that seems to be up in the air right now.
When he was pitching for the LA Angels, he had a phenomenal record against opponents.

I would love to see him pitching again and mowing down the opposing team.

how about signing him to the contract?
Either way, IMHO, this was one of the smartest moves the Dodgers have made in a while.

Freddie Freeman Is batting .366, and he’s in a slump, that is when they don’ intentionally walk him. Shohei Ohtani Is batting a mire .304, but he gets walked a lot, too. In Ohtani’s defense, he a wicked smart base runner.
