        And the referee agreed Kane struck the ball and Dumfrees foot came in with his cleats exposed after the ball was struck.

(6,360 posts)4. Evidently the people tasked with making the decision disagree.
        That is the opinion that matters. I've seen serious damage caused by studs out challenges when I was a referee.
What I thought was bad were the 2 noncalls  that Spain got against Germany.

        I thought it was a dirty kick. And Dumfries got away with a missed call later that would have given him a red card.
