forgive the sins committed in arrogance and ignorance
wipe clean the dusty slate marred and scarred by life
accept the prayers submitted restore all of innocence
an understanding of fate once more forgotten in strife
a soul in need to be cleansed washed of blood and hate
bleached without a sign of sin each stain to be removed
careful to trim a cloth singed which brushed hell’s gate
raised high above lesser men on feet of the devil proved
yet a shadow caste brings darkness on the snowy sheet
whispers of truth expose lies raising the rumors of doubt
where is the well hidden carcass the memory to delete
coated in corruption and flies yet the surface all devout
now crushing of the opponent a cursing breath to damn
once more forgetting atonement to slaughter the lamb
