Saw Gladys about 14 years ago. Her plane was late and Andy Kim was the opening act.

I know Steve Harvey did a routine years later about what it was like being a Pip singing "Midnight Train to Georgia" just like in this sketch. I didn't know they actually did it way before him.
I wonder what I was doing when this special aired.

He was great. He had bubble gum songs way back but was great. Gladys was magic. Very small crowd.
