As usual, I had absolutely zero reaction or side effect. I've never (knowingly) had Covid and hope to keep it that way.
I always get the updated shot but this year it is even more important. I'm about to become a great-auntie, again. My niece (a first time mom) has some very strict rules about being around the baby, for the first few months. She has zero relationship with her mom and her mother in law is my late sister. Although not having any children, myself, I practically raised her husband and his 2 siblings. I hope to be very involved with this new addition.
To make this an even happier holiday season, my oldest nephew and his daughter, my 9 year old great niece, will be here, too. They visited us last year, for the first time in AGES she's very excited that she will be seeing us, again. This really does a lot to light up my life.

I haven't 'celebrated' Thanksgiving for the past 3 years. We've had a bit of a 'schism' in the family (former brother in law and his girlfriend) and it was too stressful for me to handle. This year it will just be the kids, spouses, my brother and me. They are chuffed I'll be there.
