Yesterday, 1,400 protests were held to protest the Trump whose headlines fill this page. But to the #BrokenTimes this morning, they are a buried BTW. It has plenty of photos; none here. This is what they call "news judgment." To the Times, we are not news.

As his destruction unfurled, why did the #BrokenTimes choose to show Trump in a five-day-old photo at the White House, supposedly presidential, when he has instead been golfing with Saudis in Mar-a-Lago? That's a rhetorical question.

(3,345 posts)Cancelled my subscription to the post after "Bonesaw Bezos" became a Trump sycophant. Never send another dime to either of them. Have significantly decreased my Amazon purchases, but they still have me tethered. Trying to break free and chisel their hold on me every opportunity.

The demonstrations are below the fold, but they made the front page.
And good morning.

(5,490 posts)version compared to the online version. Either way, it should have been a fucking headline story.
Farmer-Rick
(11,745 posts)What a very stupid headline. It's more like an opinion piece title than reporting on over 1,000 protests against Trump and his drug monkey.
Why bring Tesla in at all? It was a protest of more than a drug monkey gone wild in our federal government. But you would never know it from that stupid title.
Oh well, Trump could never have succeeded without the full cooperation of the corporate media.

This is the image the #BrokenTimes could have run with its story, if it were not trying to fluff the Führer. It's the picture the AP ran:

(5,017 posts)NYT's fail once again. What a nasty eco-system they work in. Pushing anti-Democratic sewage. Not by accident obviously. They just play along so they'll be invited to fancy cocktail parties and free tickets to ritzy events. Maybe get a free Tesla truck here and there. We'd never know. They wouldn't admit anything.
p.s.- Also: "The blow may not be fatal." Always a bit of hope to satisfy the RW loonies.

(30,497 posts)Or any other member of the Mainstream Media? They insured trump's return to the White House, just as surely as Elon Musk did. Absolutely unforgivable....

To put more emphasis on this: Hundreds of thousands of Americans in at least 1400 cities and towns across the country, including in heavily Republican areas that never protest, protested Trump and Musk and their 401Ks being wiped out yesterday, and its NOT a main front page story in the Times.

And the only mention of it on the actual print front page is just an image with a caption telling people they need to turn to page 18 to read about it. Not worthy of a front page story, apparently.

(25,045 posts)Both are promoting the oligarchy, just the NYT is usually more circumspect than this and tells the truth more often.
