but Mr. Garcia coming out with the abuse and torture have opened many eyes to how fucked up this administration is.

2. They use this as a terrorizing tactic to encourage self deportation. They know it would take them decades....

...at their present rate to deport all the undocumented, so hoping the self deporting help them out. Not to mention we focus on this while they do something evil in the other corner we aren't watching. And in the end, it is a show for the base as 1) the economy does need the immigrant workers especially in ag and other back breaking work no one else wants to do and 2) they have not stopped the visa overstayers that feed the numbers of undocumented way more that those walking across the border completely illegally.
