I took my cat to the vet today for her wellness exam.

She screamed the whole way in the car; she screamed in the examination room; and I assume she screamed in the room where they took her to give her the exam (I have no idea what they did to her back there because I couldn't hear her screaming). Then they gave me the bill and I screamed. While I was maxing out my credit card to pay the bill, she decided to pee in the crate. I guess that showed me.

I guess you could say it was a traumatic experience for both of us.

Took my cats for their annual. We were all traumatized, but I was the only one who didn’t poop, pee or vomit. Just a day in the life of service to the felines.

I took my cat to a cat only vet. The Doctor and nurses have a scent on their hands that calm the cat. Then they gave us a blanket to put over the carrier with that same soothing scent. It was very mild, we could not smell it. It made a big difference for the ride home!
There are items in the pet stores for this soothing effect.

I'm always surprised at how loud such a small animal can be.

She went all spastic. Would this sent stuff calm her so she could tolerate a warm bath ?

Long haired cat and losing the winter coat. Cat hair all over.

We got a few brushes and three types of combs. Gently tried to remove matted fur blobs, she did not like that. Then the next day they were all gone. I think she said,... I got that,... you aren't gentle enough.

Can not believe the amount of fur this cat sheds winter into summer.

He will probably meow all the way there. They tell me that, while he does not like them holding him, he is a polite little guy. I have already stocked up on some Fancy Feast gravy lovers canned food which he loves.

My favorite Chinese Restaurant is in the same strip mall. I may stop by there on the way to pick him up to bring him home. They are located on the far NW from my house to I will make the most of my trip up there.
