Can anybody on here interpret sheepdog.

On my walk i met a new sheepdog pup owners say he’s nine months old a rescue. The poor bestest boy was chained out at his previous home and pics his new family showed me before his grooming well they had him shaved just start over he’s completely shaved except for his head.

Anyway I was alone as my golden retriever Dunc the chunk is at play camp Dunc was giving a power point today on furry bum sniffing.
So the sheepdog pup bound to the chain link fence to greet me as i was walking by I gave pets and ear rubs.
This is where i need somebody fluent in sheepdog he ran away grabbed squeaky toy ran back dropped toy lifted his leg peed through the fence then looked at me and barked.
Then he ran away again lifted his leg to pee on his kids outside doll house barked my way and went max zoomies.
Now was he asking me to piss through the fence into his yard and then go find my own squeak toy. Then come back and climb fence and urinate on his kids outside doll house.
I’m not sure on sheepdog etiquette or barks and i do not wanna come off as rude having sheepdogs pup thinking that i think my crap don’t smell.

Hello, man! Glad you’re friendly. You smell good, like dog. When do I meet this dog? Soon?

Look what I can do. I can run around. This is so much better than before. This is my place now.

You like it? I like it.

Thanks for the pets and ear scratches. Got any bacon?

Just guessing.

You were nice to him. Maybe not something he had a lot of experience with. You smelled of dog. Not sure how long Dunc has been absent, but the scent couldn't have been completely fresh, so the sheepdog decided to take ownership. Tried, or perhaps succeeded?, in marking you as his, then invited you to come and play with him. You weren't required to mark him back. It was clear who was to own who. But you probably should have jumped the fence and played try and grab the squeaky toy. Just stay away from the doll house. That, too, freshly marked so as to allow no misunderstanding, belonged to the sheepdog.

I can help with beardies but OES tend to be livestock protection members of the herding group.

I admire your writing skills because you are so genuine and direct about your situations in life. Love you for it! Laughing my ass off at Dunc the chunk giving power point lecture.

He came from a common back ground born raised on dairy farm first 8 weeks.
Then came to us and pulled himself up by the paw straps started at pup camp 4.5 years ago as a hole digger actually he still dig holes then barks in them.
And worked his way up into corporate as V.P. of chaos yet he is still humble.

marking is taking ownership of new home- apparently you are now part of his turf- should settle down once settled in
