Related: About this forumAs i sit at the kitchen bar drinking coffee. Pup is whining licking the covered trash bin.
Oliver A.K.A Baby Huey a 85 pound Pyrenees golden retriever best boy pup. And you ask why pup is licking and whining at the trash can.
Reason for pup stress is i took the almost empty large container of peanut butter i gave him to clean out and pitched it in the trash the struggle is real.
My golden Dunc the chunk 79 pounds of golden 100% good boy is still sleeping off his birthday cheeseburger from last night all four paws in the air sprawled out on the couch.
I told my lady friend that she can just drop Ollie off in the mornings on her way to work from now on once she gets home. Her youngest daughter lives with her yet kiddo has college local university and signed up for summer classes and part time job. Oliver is a treasure and Im off recovering rotator cuff surgery so pup is on us from here out until i go back to work.
Pup has been with us last 2.5 weeks as my friend is doing back to back conferences for her work and has been traveling. Yet the three days she was home between travels she commented that her spoiled boy is completely ruined by staying here.
Her observation was the other night climbing into bed Oliver did not want to move to bottom of the bed. Mom Dunc and i sleep next to the man he holds us we spoon and Oliver dogs love to spoon with Dunky and the man so you go sleep at foot of the bed.
Sadly she made Oliver the house horse move to the bottom of the bed I know what youre thinking. What a nasty woman a complete bitch.
And the dude made a big production of being exiled flopping down sighing. Yet it was too much the lack of man spooning and the long distance laying at the bottom of the bed and he crawled between us.
I love him as i love all dogs. Although he has some issues one example is other day when my lady friend was home. We rolled to friends farm reason Im thinking will get Oliver in touch with his Pyrenees half and meet some baby goats.
That didnt go as planned at first he was cautious about the possibility that the baby goats were killers and kept his distance.
Yet when he saw Dunc self identifying as a baby goat reason my chonk was self identifying as a goat. Was that animal and graham crackers were being served to the goats then Oliver decided to join in for snacks and he survived.

(137 posts)Yeah, house horse just about sums it up. We have two of them, 115 and 125 pounds. The vet has mandated a diet for both. Severe angst has ensued. I predict you household chaos will continue to increase until about three years of age. Hang in there, theyre worth it.
