I was craving an underwood brand deviled ham sandwich(childhood flash back)

I cut up the celery & cherry tomatoes, put out the wheat bread on the plate and popped open that little can.

Instantly I had 2 cats meowing to me demanding a taste & walking garound my ankles, I had not remembered the very pungent smell.

The girls got a taste & I made a cheese & veggie sandwich.

Sounds yummy! SheltieLover May 20 #1
Perhaps the sound of popping open the can made them think you were opening a can of their food. Happens in my house. Nanuke May 20 #2
You may be on to something, but the scent helped too. irisblue May 20 #4

The vet pointed out that the girls could get canned catfood because both of them are thin.

Sounds like my house. (I have four.)

OK. I have just now realized we don't have even one cat smilie here? How long has this site been here and still no cat smilies?

But those of us who are posting from a mobile device like a phone or tablet have access to a whole array of emojis on our devices, including a set of cat emojis: 😺😸😹😻😼😽🙀😿😾

I think irisblue was using some of those.

I only use my mobile on weekends during the day, ay my ex's house when we're working on it. I've never noticed any emojis on my phone, just the ones here on DU.
