Patches help me a little worried, any advice? He has a rash on his belly

And now he’s licking the hair off, it’s a little line of red spots. Do kitties get shingles? Anybody know anything I could put on it. I don’t know how I would even get him to the vet if I had to, he’s so big and strong, I took him in once when he was about a year old, he was so sick he couldn’t fight back, (infected bite from another cat) so he’s had his shots and his neutering. He seems very healthy otherwise and lively. Maybe I should change cat litter? Any advice? Thanks in advance

6. I don't think it's fleas, he has white fur, he never goes outside, I check him closely I know what

I know what they look like, I haven’t seen any. He lived outside for the first year of his life and now he’s inside all the time so it could be sort of neurotic. I will check out those other two links, thank you

2. Dry skin? Someone once told me it's a vitamin e deficiency

when my girl was pulling out hair.

I rubbed in Bag Balm on her red skin and it eventually cleared up.

7. Yes it is safe for use on cats, dogs, kittens and large animals.

It's also safe for them to lick too.

3. This sounds like a food allergy or he's a bit neurotic and is overly licking his tummy in stress. I

have one cat in that condition. She now eats Science Diet dry CD multicare/stress and finally has fur on her tummy again! The CD variety must include the word stress. Unfortunately, the SciDi costs have gone through the roof! But, for one cat, it's probably doable. If you live near a Tractor Supply, their brand, 4health, is very good... I use the turkey and rice.

If I distract him he’ll stop he doesn’t act like it really itches a lot, thanks for the advice. I always gave him the same food I’ll try something else. I also give him little pieces of grilled chicken from time to time maybe I should stop doing that.

11. Ant bites can cause itchy red bumps, sometimes with pus, and they become active this time of year...

finding their way indoors too.

16. Looking much better today, I'm thinking maybe some of the little ants I've been seeing stung

When I see him compulsively licking I can easily distract him with some string or something he doesn’t seem in any discomfort or anything. Thanks for asking
