Trump Is Getting Neutered Today

My husband and I volunteer with our local cat rescue organization. We drive fosters and pets of low-income residents to be spayed and neutered. We picked up a big, noisy, orange male cat from an auto body shop this morning. His name was Trump. The owner was Hispanic, so I don't know if he was a supporter or not. Anyway, we drove Trump to the vet and he was complaining IN CAPS the whole way. When we got there, we announced VERY LOUDLY that Trump was here to get neutered. He's also getting ear-tipped (because the first time was a fake) and microchipped (in case he wanders off). So, I wonder if the vets are going to fight over which one of them gets to chop Trump's balls off?

5. IDK If He Was a Supporter Or Not

The owner is an auto body shop owner. Perhaps he meant it as a joke - big, orange and talkative. He said that the cat was friendly, but it was in too small of a carrier, so it was unhappy.

Also, before you say "fuck that owner," we pulled in and he had found a cat that had just been hit by a car and wanted us to get it to the emergency vet for care. Unfortunately, we weren't able to, but we arranged for him to take it to our local emergency vet and the organization would pay for it's care.

8. I don't mean to be argumentative, but this is a pet peeve of mine.

Why do you refer to the cat as "it"? Cats have genders and this one is a male, therefore he should be referred to as "he" or "him" in my opinion.

I'm not trying to chastise or correct you, but I've always wondered why people do that. It seems cold, like the cat is an inanimate object, just a thing, and not a living, breathing being.

Just my two cents, although nobody asked for it.

He will get treated with disdain and not given a fair chance just because that name does not ring well.

7. No, He Won't

The place where we take the cats to get spayed/neutered is very good. They treat all animals with love. Okay, maybe they treat the babies a little better than the adults. But Trump will get the care that he needs without any problems.

The owner was apparently a MAGA at one point. Don't know if he still is.

The kitty is doing well and resting comfortably before resuming his duties keeping vermin out of the auto body shop.

The cat Trump that is.
Keeping the meeces at bay is an Important Job.
We have a lookalike, did a wonderful job in his youth, hunting and killing the big meeces, rats.

The other Trump, well, he is just feral.
