I could not live without my dogs. My husband prefers his cats but my dogs rule my heart.

I had a conversation about my cats (the one I still have and the one I just lost) and all the health problems and vet trips with a coworker. She said "you must have spent a lot of money on cats". And I told her that they were MY family and I will do whatever I can for them, as long as I can. Family!!!! Furry fuzzy family!!!! Can't beat it.

Our pets have never known they were animals. We refer to them as our kids.

My doctor gave me an actual prescription for two cats, but the board was not moved. I could never live without animals and I couldn't begin to live in a place where no one had animals. That seems completely unnatural to me. Animals are family.

kitties were right around me (not exactly watching it...well, maybe one of the cats took a look now and then!). But I was surrounded by my 4 legged family members and watching a favorite show. Couldn't be beat!

I firmly believe that anyone that thinks otherwise either has no pets or doesn't deserve the ones they have.
