Japanese Cabbage Salad with Creamy Miso Sauce

The salad itself is Napa cabbage with scallions, almonds, and sesame seeds.

The miso sauce dressing has tahini, lime, white miso and soy sauce.

Good dish for a hot day. Heat wave ends tonight.

Kombucha: plum ginger.

Dessert: cold tea and a tangerine.

...for my wife. I'll probably have ramen because I'm not certain there's enough chicken for two, and I had a late lunch anyway.

I made a small batch of potato salad yesterday. I did some chores in the house today, and was glad to have some fast and easy.

I had some coconut macaroons and frozen blueberries earlier, so no dessert now.

Topped with Carolina barbecue sauce and air-fried until done. Also made oven roasted seasoned cauliflower florets tossed with red lentil rotini, fresh chopped parsley, chives and Miyoko’s butter. Cheers!🥂

When I first entered the kitchen, hungry, weary from the road and ready to crash... I did soup:
I had pour-over coffee while I waited for the soup to heat.
Good ol' Amy's low-sodium vegetable chunky on the ready for a quick fix.
I opened a bag of emergency organic popcorn while I waited for the soup to heat.
threw some croutons on the soup and ate the whole thing. I napped all afternoon.
Dinner
After a long day nap... another quickie:
blue tortillas heated in olive oil with leftover seasoned (canned) black beans and swiss cheese.
organic coconut milk for beverage....
