Breaded pork chop with sage leaves. Applesauce.

Sweet potato fries.

Kombucha: ginger.

Dessert: chocolate. I will have to go out for it, but I need some.

It is just me and the pup for dinner as it is a work night for TJ and I'm planning:

Frozen portions of potato and herb crusted cod to be baked
Steamed fresh broccoli
Leftover string beans and potatoes
Small piece of low sugar pumpkin pie

but here is an abundance of leftovers available so I might be lazy and eat them instead.

Son gorged himself on fish & chips, then a monster sausage thingie on a bun with onions and peppers. I had a big fruit salad (he helped) and we both had lemonade and then mead.

I think watching him eat all that stuff made me feel full by osmosis. Or maybe it was the mead (I used to be able to outdrink anyone in college, but now it just makes my upper lip sweat and I want to lie down and nap…) Just had a caramel rice cake upon returning home to revive me, and I think I’m done for the day. Maybe a big pot of chili tomorrow to make up for it.

Huzzah!

We are out of town and tried a Thai place recommended by Happy Cow. I thought the food was just so-so. Had a green curry that was kind of haphazardly put together. My wife had a veggie tofu dish that was uninspired. All very edible but nothing special. Cheers!🥂
