Breakfast Monday 15 September 2025

I will make an over easy egg, broil some split in half cherry
tomatoes and make a slice of whole grain toast, and a pot of hot tea for later this morning.

Yes, I'm bragging a bit today. It's rare for me to get my omelets this perfect. The eggs are NOT BROWN--fluffy and moist.

Anyway, it's got ham & American cheese inside. There's salsa on the side, as well as a few tots.

I'm a protein for breakfast kind of guy, so a waffle and/or cold cereal isn't really food at 6:30 AM. Oh well, the motel is cheap and filled with young, foreign folks seeing the American west, so people watching is great in the breakfast room. Has anyone else noticed that motel breakfasts have gone downhill in recent years? Even fairly expensive places seem to be eliminating hot plate dishes like eggs and bacon (and my current abode is NOT an expensive one, lol).
