Something for the Game? Chili Cheeseburger /The Baconator at Home! 🌞

From a Texas Cook of Course!

Game Day Chili Cheeseburger Recipe

A game day favorite – chili cheese burgers with a crunchy delicious
twist. Delicious and messy, make sure you have napkins on hand!

Ingredients

3 Angus Sirloin Steakburgers
3 slices favorite cheese
2 Cups of your favorite chili
Bag of corn chips
1 Cup grated sharp cheddar
3 hamburger buns toasted

Instructions

Heat the chili and leave simmering on the stove
Toast the buns and set aside
Grill the CHOP HOUSE Angus Sirloin Steakburgers to your desired doneness
You can either, top the burger with a slice of cheese at this point, or do like I do
and place the cheese on the toasted bun bottom.
Build your burger: bottom bun, cheese, burger, chili, shredded cheese, corn
chips, more chili, more cheese…. Top bun From the textures to the flavors..
these burgers are a game day WIN!

Notes
If you're my husband, there are sauteed jalapenos on this burger, too. I recommend
having extra corn chips to scoop up any of the extra goodness that doesn't make it
into your mouth the first time.

Ingredients

1/2 lb. fresh hamburger meat divided
Six strips Applewood Smoked Bacon
3 Slices Cheddar Cheese

Divide the burger meat into two 1/4 lb. patties
Heat the grill to medium high heat
Cook the burger patties, flipping once.
Heat the buns on the grill.
Top the bottom bun, and both patties with cheese and allow to melt.
Top the melted cheese topped patties with 3 strips of bacon eac.
Build the Baconator: Cheesy bottom bun, burger patty 1, burger patty 2
Make a W with the ketchup and mayonnaise on the top bun and place that on top

To make a Rachel Style Baconator®

Top the original Baconator® with jalapeños, tomatoes, lettuce, and mustard

Notes
To cook the bacon in the oven: preheat oven to 400°F, lay the bacon on a parchment
or foil lined baking sheet and bake until crisp. 15 - 20 minutes. Dry with paper towel
This Baconator® is so easy to re-create at home, and can easily be customized with
different cheeses and toppings.
