Got a nice compliment in a meeting this morning!
At the weekly SMART zoom meeting, one of the younger participants told me that she thought I was very inspiring. I've been sober for 5 1/2 years and I don't really need to keep going to stay clean. One of the reasons I still attend every week is to share my experiences and hopefully inspire others to stay off the sauce. It's nice to hear that I'm actually making a difference.
