Anyone else using the faster playback settings on Netflix?

There have been a couple shows I've viewed lately that are so slow moving, I've been watching them at a faster speed with the subtitles on. I've been really enjoying it, since I'm trying to cut down on my screen time.

I'm learning Spanish. When I watch Netflix or YouTube, I will turn the speed down to .75. I can't always follow the audio, but it gives me time to read the subtitles.
I also listen to a lot of audio books so I turn the speed up to 1.25 as a rule. If the book is due back soon, sometimes I turn it up to 1.5 or even double speed For some narrators it's easy to understand and sometimes they just sound funny.

Best regards,

Slow down the Spanish audio and read the English subtitles. I'm going to try that.

... as soon as it becomes apparent that the movie is not really interesting to me yet I still want to figure out what "everyone" was seeing in it.

I'll also skip to the last episode of some limited series and speed through it if I don't find the first episode intriguing. If the ending doesn't annoy me I'll go back and watch the entire series in order. Funny thing is I never do this with books.
