I’ve been mesmerized with this series ever since season 1 began two years ago. Breathtaking cinematography, beautiful musical score by Philip Glass, an inadvertent travelogue and a compelling group of expert big wave surfers, especially the obsessed Garrett McNamara, who risk life and limb in pursuit of that perfect wave and the ultimate dream of riding that elusive 100 foot wave. The series is filled with edge of your seat drama, adventure and sometimes heartbreak. A unique and compelling adventure documentary/series that I cannot recommend more highly.
