Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has issued an ultimatum to Belarus, calling on Alexander Lukashenko to remove equipment from his country used by Russia in its attacks on Ukraine or face the consequences.

RUSSIAN AUTHORITIES' REACTION TO UKRAINE’S STRIKE ON MOSCOW

Russian authorities sought to downplay the impact of a bold Ukrainian attack on an oil complex in Moscow even as footage showed black rain descending on the capital. The relentless drone attacks, which the Ukrainians call “energy sanctions”, have led to petrol shortages across Russia and growing frustration with Putin’s war.

NO FAST-TRACKED EU ACCESSION FOR EU

The EU is in consensus about not rushing negotiations on Ukraine’s membership, Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk said after the bloc’s summit in Brussels. Negotiations with Ukraine started in earnest this week after the new Hungarian government lifted its veto.

And has been for 4 years and it’s still not a concern. Ukraine will not give up and they’re great partners if you’d let them be. Glory to Ukraine 🇺🇦.

If Ukraine seriously threatens Lukashenko's personal safety, he'll high-tail it back to Russia, just as he has done before.

Question would be: who would be able to effectively run Belarus as a viable country in the near term.
