Russians are recreating NKVD arrests as "entertainment" - Break the Fake - TVP WORLD

In some Russian parks, visitors are encountering a highly unusual form of “entertainment.” Actors dressed in NKVD uniforms approach people, demand documents, simulate arrests, and even take fingerprints – all as part of a staged “historical experience.” Presented as a playful reconstruction of the past, this attraction draws from one of the most oppressive periods in Soviet history. In this new episode of Break the Fake, Benjamin Lee explains why this is drawing attention outside of Russia.

they were fine with Putin's invasion of Ukraine. Now drones are reaching Moscow and they're terrified? The million and a half Russian casualties didn't even phase them?
And the rabid-right in the U.S. admires the Russian way of life (no minorities, no LBGTQ people in Russia, right?) They can have it.
I used to feel compassion for the Russian people. Now I'm not so sure. I imagine they never consider what the people in Ukraine are going through because of their murderous, thieving president Putin.

Out of sight, out of mind. They don't care unless it hits them personally. There's too many people who feel that way in our own country, too. 🤨
