Why U.S.-Venezuelan Negotiations Are Failing - William Spaniel



The United States and Venezuela are edging toward war. Simultaneously, there are negotiations going on in the background. As it stands, though, they do not seem to be going anywhere. This video looks at the fundamental bargaining problem between the two of them and how it could be resolved short of conflict. We also investigate what exactly the United States is trying to do with its mobilization in the Caribbean.

Monroe Doctrine, I would guess the U.S. military deployment is more of a warning to Russia and China than to Maduro.
