Related: About this forumTotal Lawlessness! Kremlin Arrests Regular People Across Entire Russia - The Russian Dude
Russia has unleashed a nationwide wave of arrests against ordinary citizenspeople who once thought donating even ten dollars to Alexey Navalnys Anti-Corruption Foundation (FBK) was harmless. After Navalnys death, the Kremlin still fears his name so much that anyone tied financially to his movement is now in the crosshairs. Thousands of unsuspecting donors across Russia are at risk, with their transactions fully traceable and now weaponized by investigators.
This isnt random repressionits bureaucracy with handcuffs. Laws are written, tested, and then scaled into conveyor belts of criminal cases. Since FBK was labeled an extremist organization in August 2021, every donation has been potential criminal evidence. Whether you donated once or a dozen times, your name can appear in a database ready to be processed into prosecution. The arrests are spreading across regions, from Moscow to the provinces, showing that no part of Russia is safe from this sweeping campaign.
Meanwhile, FBKs leadership abroad faces criticism for downplaying risks, offering false assurances about safe donation systems, and focusing on brand monetization instead of protecting supporters on the ground. Glossy presentations and fundraising pitches in the West stand in stark contrast to regular Russians being dragged into courtrooms at home.
This crackdown highlights how the Russian state weaponizes bureaucratic repression to target civilians, control dissent, and instill fear. Its not just about Navalnyits about every Russian who believed in change, donated a few rubles, and now faces years in prison. This is what total lawlessness looks like in Putins Russia, and its only accelerating.
