Today's video explores what actually happened, how this is different from the earlier incidents, and what the Kremlin's underlying strategy here is. Note:
The MiG-31 is a high-speed interceptor with underwing/pylon hardpoints. The aircraft itself is a launch platform.

A specially modified variant, the MiG-31K, is fitted to carry the Kh-47M2 “Kinzhal” hypersonic missile — which Russian sources state can be armed with either conventional or nuclear warheads.

So the aircraft can deliver a nuclear weapon via a compatible air-launched missile, but it is not a strategic nuclear bomber in the classic sense.
