Everyone enjoy Inauguration Day!

Let's all relax a little and forget about the the religious right, the anti-choicers, the tea baggers, Rebublicans and the gun nuts for a little while.

The people have spoken and Obama has been re-elected!

All BOG/DU people give yourselves a pat on the back. Dream come true. Celebrate this wonderful day!

I requested but was denied the day off. (My supervisors are not big fans of my political views.) That's cool. I'll be smiling all day, secure in the fact that Barrack Obama is President for the nest 4 years!

As I said elsewhere, I have waited all my life for this country to make good on the old conceit that "any American child can grow up to be President".

Now, with re-election of a black man, it's ingrained, permanent and finally true.

Smile when you awake.

I don't have a really good fix on the time of the Inauguration and speech, but I have a 10 a.m. doctor's appointment here in California, so I plan to turn the tv on as soon as I get up in hopes I will catch at least part of it before I have to leave.

Enjoy it for me!
