On Thursday, July 30, the White House released the National HIV/AIDS Strategy: Updated to 2020 at Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta, GA. President Obama released our first comprehensive national strategy in July 2010, and the Updated Strategy capitalizes on the major scientific and policy advances of the last five years, increases focus on the populations most-affected by HIV in the United States, and sets national prevention, care, and disparities goals for 2020.
