Coming sometime (unknown) Gimp 3.2

Current stable is 3.0.6

3.2-RC1 just hit developers.

https://www.gimp.org/

I'm getting better with it.

I wanted to show off the coming splash screen.

Might have to go back to it. Photoshop has gotten into the rental biz and it costs too bunch to buy just to rent it forever after that huge initial layout.

I hope gimp gets more user friendly until photoshop is buried.

Otherwise, I use a tiny percentage of features in GIMP, and have to resolve a keyboard issue that popped up (dialogs don't automatically grab the keyboard) which worked fine until something changed. And there are tooo many options. I switch mice on the go between an Apple mouse and a logitech and that works for me. As part of those options, I have to turn off vertical scroll to resize.

Some day with time to waste (which is never)

All of my graphics I post that are modified are via GIMP. A handful with Apple Preview because I can use FontBook to preview fonts for annotation. Gimp says to have improved text with the newest RC. I hope so.

Costs nothing to try.
