2020- Democrats need a net gain of 3 seats plus win the 2020 US Presidential Election or need a net gain of 4 seats without winning the 2020 US Presidential Election.
1 Democratic held US Senate seat up in 2020 is likely to go Republican- AL(Jones-D)
Democrats need to win 4 vulnerable Republican held seats up in 2020 plus the 2020 US Presidential Election or 5 Republican held seats without the 2020 US Presidential Election.
The 4 Republican held seats up in 2020 Democrats will likely pick up will be AZ(McSally-R), CO(Gardner-R), ME(Collins-R), and NC(Tillis-R). McSally-AZ,Gardner-CO,and Tillis-NC are weak Republican incumbent in purple/blue States. Collins-ME Democratic Challenger will benefit from the 2020 Democratic Presidential Nominee's coattails. Democrats will come up short in GA(Perdue-R), IA(Ernst-R), and TX(Cornyn-R).
2022- If Democrats occupy the US Presidency.
