First they try to make the word "freedom" take up real estate in people's minds with the truck convoy. Now Justin Trudeau didn't win the election. The truck convoy ploy didn't work so they are going to do it again this summer.

Won't work either. US wedge issues never take in Canada.

But it is interesting that the right in Canada wants to orient the country to match the right in the USA and is insistent "freedom" take in the minds of Canadians. Trump promised to close the border to Mexico as the big picture campaign issue in 2016. It painted a picture. Maybe he wants to run in 2024 with forming a union with Canada. That paints a picture. It will not do to have 90 percent of Canadians against it. Seems they are trying to make Canadians match Americans MAGAs, psychology to psychology.
