State Supreme Court debate postponed due to candidate illness
MADISON, Wis. Wednesdays scheduled debate between state Supreme Court candidates Maria Lazar and Chris Taylor has been postponed.
In a statement, Taylors campaign said she had fallen ill and the debate would be rescheduled.
This morning Judge Taylor visited urgent care after waking up feeling unwell," it read. "Physicians then recommended she visit the hospital for additional evaluation. While she is unable to participate in tonights debate, we look forward to rescheduling and finding an opportunity for voters to hear from both candidates before Election Day."
The Taylor campaign said information on her condition would be released when it became available. In the release, campaign leaders said Taylor would be launching a statewide tour before the April 7 election and that information about the tour stops would be released soon.
