That's cold.

We've had -20F in my area but my buddy said they had it at -37F in the Big Hole valley. I don't miss those temps, used to see that nearly every winter when I was up around 7,000ft elev.

We warmed up to above 0 temps yesterday and might even get up around freezing today!

Stay warm!

-60. The power went out for three days and the street cracked in half. Maybe around 2013-2015?

I have seen and walked around in -50F but I wouldn't want to do that ever again.

It was excellent 70 degrees on first floor but around 60 upstairs, 50 something in basement.

It was scary.

In a survival state of mind when it goes below 0. I am reluctant to get in the shower for fear something will go wrong while I'm naked and wet. It takes a lot to warm up with wet hair, etc..

Keep one faucet drizzling and stay hydrated. Extreme cold is bad like heat when it comes to hydration.

At least you have a fireplace, if the power goes out, you have a heat source even if you have to huddle in one room.

"Put on a sweater, damn it!" was my father's answer whenever my brothers, mother or I would complain about how cold it was in the house. Thinking back, I don't think there was any insulation at all in that house. (SouthWest WI)

Good times
