Lumen Field ranks among top World Cup venues for beating the heat
As World Cup players try to keep cool under pressure this summer, Seattle and Lumen Field could help play a role.
According to a May report from the betting news and analysis website Action Network, Lumen Field has the third-lowest risk score out of the 16 World Cup venues when it comes to summer heat.
The report comes as players and fans alike prepare for the hot summer temperatures at the international soccer tournament, the most-watched sporting event in the world.
Lumen Field will host four group-stage matches and two knockout-round matches during the FIFA World Cup in June and July.
